TRAVEL TO NEW ZEALAND
Before you spend too much time planning and organising your trip to New Zealand, it is advised to look into the visa requirements. Depending on your country of origin, you may need to apply for a New Zealand visa or an Electronic Travel Authority (eTA). This eTA allows you to travel to New Zealand for tourism or business purposes for up to three months. Read on for more information about getting a New Zealand visa or ETA.

It is important to find out what type of visa you need, or if you are eligible for an eTA. An eTA will take less time to get authorised and is more straightforward to get, however, being eligible for this depends on your nationality. If your eTA is approved, you are allowed to stay for up t 3 months, and visit for tourism and business purposes. If you need to stay longer or are wanting to come for work, studies or another reason, you will need to apply for a visa. Visa types will vary depending on your reason for entering New Zealand.
You can read more about the New Zealand eTA on our resources page or click on one of the relevant articles below.
