Whether you’re planning a leisurely vacation or a business trip, if you’re traveling to Turkey you’ll need to obtain a visa in advance. Applying for a visa is simple to do, but it is important to do this in advance. Read on to learn more about the process for applying for a Turkish eVisa so that you can get to Turkey hassle-free.

A Turkey eVisa is an electronic visa that allows travellers to enter and stay in Turkey for up to 90 days within a 180-day period. Those who are travelling for tourism, business or transit purposes require a Turkey eVisa. This visa is issued by the Government of Republic of Turkey and can be acquired online from the official website of Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

If you plan to travel to Turkey, you will need to apply for a Turkey eVisa before your trip. This needs to be done at least 2 – 3 weeks before your trip, or ideally longer. The process is simple and can be completed entirely online. Additionally, it is essential to have a valid passport before applying for the eVisa, as applicants will be required to upload their copies for verification.
